vacanza

Located in the heart of the Alps, Isolaccia is 8km from Bormio and 28km from Livigno; a peaceful little village in Alta Valtellina, it is the ideal place for a relaxing, revitalising holiday at any time of year.

The main town in Valdidentro, the village is 1,345m above sea level and is a real paradise for those who love the mountains. Here you can enjoy unspoiled nature and breathtaking views of the Stelvio National Park (I Laghi di Cancano, Val Viola, Cima Piazzi and more).
Its care for the environment, love of tradition and continued commitment to offering quality services make Isolaccia a popular destination, especially with families.
There are lots of outdoor activities to enjoy both in summer and in winter, as well as numerous events, offering guests an unforgettable holiday that will leave you wanting to return as soon as possible.

Isolaccia is conveniently located for excursions and hikes in the mountains, on foot and by bike. Its vicinity to the Stelvio, Gavia and Mortirolo Alpine passes mean that keen cyclists can take on some of the most famous climbs of the Giro d’Italia, while for those who prefer less challenging routes there is the Sentiero Viola, a 10km route that connects Bormio to Valdidentro, easy, paved, and suitable for families with children.

Skiing takes centre stage in the winter.

The Cima Piazzi Happy Mountain gondola is just 300m from the apartment so you can easily reach the Valdidentro-Valdisotto ski area, ideal for a family ski holiday. The Family Bob Alpine coaster opened in 2019; brilliant fun, it is the only toboggan run on rails in Lombardy and is located the top station of the gondola.
Close to the gondola station you can also find the start of the Viola trail, with a number of routes dedicated to cross country skiing as well as a shooting range for biathlon (the only one in Lombardy), so more and more people can take part in this extremely popular sport

If this wasn’t enough, add the nearby ski areas of Bormio (where you can take on the legendary Stelvio World Cup slope), Santa Caterina Valfurva and Livigno, for over 200km of marked runs.

The proximity of duty-free Livigno means that shopping lovers can discover numerous shops and boutiques offering tax-free products.

And, of course, there is always time for a little rest and relaxation; you can head to the Bormio Terme and QC Terme Bagni Vecchi and Bagni Nuovi, all under 10km from Isolaccia and ideal for those who after a day outdoors want to unwind in the warm thermal waters that the area has been famous for since Roman times.
